During their holiday sports fans can spend their time skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, snowtubing, horse-riding, ice skating, curling, paragliding, practising archery, cross-country skiing, snow-shoe hiking, ski touring and with lots of other sports.
Culture lovers will feel great during the traditional celebrations and cultural events, and you can also go to concerts, theatres, Christmas and New Year's Eve parties, Advent and Easter markets, or to a museum.
Anyone who is looking for relaxation might want to head to the spa - "Tauern Spa Kaprun", go off on a leisurely winter hike, or enjoy a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride through the winter wonder world that is Pinzgau.
408 perfectly tended kilometres of pistes and 121 lift facilities, including a glacier ski area and the new 'Ski Alpin Card' promise sheer endless winter sports fun. Winter sports fans are very well catered for here. With just one ski pass the many ski runs in Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn and on the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun can be accessed.
From both sets of our accommodation it is around 7 km by car or via the free ski bus to the first gondola for the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See (City Express), or to Schüttdorf via the Areitbahn. Let the skiing fun start!
